J Arif l qi Programs rustled, voices stilled, the lights dimmed, and the curtains parted when the January, 1956 senior class presented its play, The Curious Savage. The production's leading lady was Marsha Lowinger, portraying Mrs. Savage. Lois Schurgin, Seymour Linovitz and Arthur Harris played her children, who, imagining their mother insane, placed her in a rest home. She befriends several patients, Hannibal lElliot Solomoni, Jeffrey lBob Naftalyl, Florence lMarlene Pearlmanj, Mrs. Paddy QMar- lene Engeli, Dr. Emmet CShel Brownl, and a nurse fMarilyn Mayl. Directing the production was Miss Rosemary Downs, and student director, Judy Roth. ,, ,Y

cS SZm!e,fafG ' Something new has been added to the Council elections this spring. Campaigning for members was carried on in all study halls. During the week of elections, candidates had posters in both halls and study halls. The supporters also paraded around the school with slogans for their favorite candidate.
