1984 YEARBOOK DEDICATION MR. OGDEN HOLLARS Central has lost many things in the past, one in particular, and that is Mr. Hollars. Often known as coach Hollars, he was one of our wonderful teachers that retired last year after 25 years of his service. Mr. Hollars is gone but, still remembered for his many contributions to us. Born in Stop, Kentucky February 21,1920, in a two room log cabin, his father was a teacher, and a minister. They have lived in various places such as: Louiseville, Kentucky, Indiana, Colorado and Montana. Mr. Hollars attended high school in Denver and later attended college in Warrensburg, where he received his masters, from CMS. He also attended Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, where he received his undergraduate degree. Last but not least, he attended UMKC. His family consists of three daughters, two are married and one is attending C.M.S. Coach Hollars is still umpiring in his spare time. He coached Girls Volleyball-lst city Championship (4 yrs.) Baseball (3 yrs.) Football-Freshman Jr. Ass.-Var.-AII C.H.S. We all taking this time out to honor a great man and a wonderful human being. Coach we love you !!!!!!!!
