Proud and Together, the Class of 29 Ever close in mind and heart 1916-1972 No further away than a picture, A smile or remembered phrase . . . Mrs. Corrine M. Neal, was born in Thomasville, Georgia, and was a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, for 18 years. During her 12 years at Central High School, as a guidance counselor, she played a very important role in the lives of many students. The 1973 Senior Class feels that she can never be replaced and will always be living within their hearts. ... a lifetime's work is ended And a well-earned rest is won. Every facet of Central has been evaluated and improved upon in the last four years. These advances were not the calculated results of a remote and automatic administration, but through the persistent and very human effort of the class as a whole. The underclassmen and the school as a whole cannot approach the import of the task and vision the class has successfully executed: it may perhaps serve as merely a dim reflection of the class' energy.
