Understanding ... Strength .. . Trust . .. Intelligence . . . Love ... Life. Blackness is a state of mind . . . considered the ultimate in a world where the original concept” is assumed forgotten. The Brother and Sister, in this case, are not dashiki-clad, afro-sporting, cadillac-driving individuals. And though their skin lacks ebony pigment, all the things we have strived to achieve through self expression, in bringing the word “Black” it it’s ultimate are there, within this pair. A pair extraordinaire' with separate “ways and means, but working toward the same cause. Both acting with distant, but equal force to keep CHS to-geth-er. Definitely Black ... in every sense of the word. America, behold your “Great White Hope” for understanding . .. strength . .. trust... intelligence ... love ... peace .. . and life!! Do things seem a little “Hayes’y”? ... Brother, that’s the way they’re supposed to be. DIG IT. Written by, Connie Reed Dedication—Dedication—Dedication—Dedication-Dedication-Dedicatio
