Sheffield, Sponsor. 4 Red Cross The aim of the High School Red Cross is to make students aware of the community needs, to give them an opportunity to meet those needs as they learn to be responsible citizens, and to promote understanding and friendship in the world Community. Activities for the 1963-64 school year included Red Cross Christmas Stocking program, school- to-school exchange program, school chest program, membership drive and school Visitations. Miss S. ROW TWO: Doyle Mabin, Cedric Rice, William Cavole David Griffin George Byers Philip Cozey, Theodore Anderson, Carl David Brown, Clennon Jones. The C Club is one of the oldest clubs in the school. It is made up of athletes who have lettered in one or more of the major varsity sportsg football, basketball and track. The primary function is to improve athletics in all its phases and to give special recognition to those persons who have received a varsity letter. One ofthe requirements of the C Club is that they wear the official C Club jackets and only members in good standing are permitted to wear these jackets. It is their privilege to take action upon any other school letters that are being worn inside of Central's building.
