First Semester Student Council Officers LEFT TO RIGHT: Jock Hefter, Nancy Shull, Miss Leiben-good, Earl Evans, Pete Peterson, Wayne Shipley, Koren Mosteller, Tim Frazier. Under the capable direction of Miss Rebekah Leibengood and President Earl Evans, the first semester Student Council accomplished numerous tasks. Notes of sympathy were sent to faculty members and students in case of serious illnesses or deaths of members of the immediate families; the Cafeteria Committee organized a crew of boys to aid in the cafeteria during each lunch shift to clear the lunch tables; and the Student Council Cabinet selected students most representative of Central to participate on Heart of America Bandstand.
