It is the one enterprise in which each citizen for a span of years spends time during his formative age, learning the rules of the game of life. Thomas Huxley says in his Liberal Education, Education is the instruction of the intellect in the laws of nature, under which name I include not merely things and their forces but men and their ways, and the fashioning of the affections and of the The school embraces six departments of solid subjects: Eng- lish, Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Commerce, and three departments of non-solid courses: Fine Arts, Practical Arts, and Physical Education.
