rf! .. y W Mr. Clement, who has been Central's principal for the past four years, has always been one of Central's most loyal supporters. Not only has he worked consistently for the good of Central, but hc has been an eager spectator at Central events, for he has attended all football and basketball games and track meets. If everyone at Cen- tral had as much enthusiasm as this one person, the school would be in an enviable position regarding the school spirit. Cur many thanks go to Mr. Clement for what he has done for Central and for what he is doing. fi. '! V ,rv 31-Q ,tri A :V ,f:.:i:s , a ' Mr. VV. W. Clement Mr. Paul M. Marshall, Vice-Principal, who succeeds Mr. William Englund here at Central, has been associated with the Kansas City C schools for 12 years, during which time he has been principal of Horace Mann and Henry C. Kumpf Elementary Schools. Before his . coming to Kansas City, he was principal of a junior high school in Springfield, Mo. I was born in La Monte, Mo., and finished high school there. Ns You can imagine how different my high school was from Central, he smiled, when I tell you there were only 50 pupils in the whole school. From high school, Mr. Marshall went to the Central Missouri State College at Warrensbtirg and later earned a master's degree at Columbia University, New York. He has also done graduate work at the state universities of Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado.
