ZiMMERLING, ROSE All three boys were members of the Hi-Y, and they remembered their good times at the Girl Reserve and Hi-Y dances. Bob Merrill and Warren Jones were the capable leaders of the Hi-Y, and G. R. was led by Winona Carpenter. Then it was Variety Night time again, and the show was entitled Khaki Kavalkade. The Senior student directors were Don Fitzhugh and Bill LaRue. One of the funniest acts the boys had ever seen was in this Variety Night. R was a boys ' ballet, with Jim Hartley, Bryce Mehrens, Bernard Carey and Bob Leedy. The Student Play given was What a Life, with Joanne Van Valkenburgh, Rena Raye Ballenger, Zahenske, Eddie — Football, ' 13; Hi-Y. Zito, Mary- Adams, Roger A. — President, C. F. Turning to Student Government, the boys found that the Student Council was well led first term by: President, Jean Murphy; Vice-President, Muriel Shearer; and Secretary, Joyce Covey. Second term officers were: President, Sonny Howard; Vice-President, Bryce Mehrens; and Secretary, Diane Leforgee, with two positions on the second term All City Student Council going to Sonny Howard as Vice-President and Jean Murphy as Secretary. At some of the games, music and parades were led by Drum Major Dick Miller, and by the Drum Majorettes, Joyce Blacker, Vicky Taylor and Caroline Button. About this time the heads around the table began to nod, for it was the wee hours of the morning when Zerr, Skinner and Wilson brought their reminiscing to an end, and all dropped off to sleep and dreamed of dear old Central and its unforgettable memories.
