At the Big Six Track Meet, Central ' s track squad placed second in the high school league, well repre- sented by Don Fitzhugh, Bill Best, Bob Merrill, Sonny Howard and Bill Comer. The Senior Test was given, and Nancy Ary made the highest grade. Harriet Bosenberg and Eileen Horowitz made the second and third highest grades. Pat Grinnell represented Central in the D.A.B. At some of the games, music and parades were led by Drum Major Dick Miller, and by the Drum Majorettes, Joyce Blacker, Vicky Taylor and Caroline Button.
