The divisions of the 1938 Centralian represent a complete break with precedent, differing from all previous division pages in subject matter, in spirit, and in artistic handling. As a result, each picture needs a word of explanation to insure full appreciation. The VVt1o page, by far the simplest of the three, presents sophistication,-:tile debutante in tier first formal, her escort resplendent in his new tuxedo. The orchid adds a delicate touch.
