The experiences gained outside of class is more valuable than the student gains in the classroom. D.E. Practice is a full year course for 12th grade Distributive Education Co- Op students only. The main purpose is to offer a related course covering spe- cific area of work in the distributive occupations with special emphasis on the various functions performed such as buying and sales promotion. A spe- cific objective is to establish a correla- tion between classroom instruction and work on the job. Office Practice is a polishing course for business co-op students. Good of- fice techniques and the use of business machines are taught. Examining a Christmas Club account with a co worker is Crystal Byas from Business Co-Op.

Writing Class Gffers Ways of Expression Working diligently in Introduction to Expository Writing are some Soph. and lunior students. One of the most important concepts to learn was how to communicate with others and the English department at Central was well equipped for the teaching of just that. Like in the past, students had a wide variety of classes to choose from, but this year another course was added to broaden the department even more. This class was lntrduction to Expository Writing where students learned how to write themes and express their thoughts on paper. During the year, a group of students tried to get a Shakespearian class of- fered here at Central.
