PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Members of the Senior Class and All Students of Central School- The role of education in our rapidly changing society is very import: ant. We are striving to broaden our curriculum that your educational needs will be met here at Central. As principal of Central High School, I have tried to promote this theme through curricular offerings. There is a place for each of you in our complex society. Remember always to temper that attainment with kindness, and to be virtuous, just and true. Life is full of challenges and the manner in which you meet them determines your character. Having completed your high school edu- cation, you have begun at the enumeration table of success. With a strong will and determination nothing can stop you. I charge you with that ever-increasing spirit and desire to continue your educational advancements; to be willing and prepared to accept the challenges of life; to be a worthy member of a society, with an inquiring mind and a problem solving attitude; to join firmly and to hold truly to that ever-increasing group of truly educated persons who seek to push backward the barriers of manhs ignorance; to heal the wounds of man's prejudices; and to add to the sum of human goodness. Remember that a well trained mind is your best guarantee for a greater service. ELMORE W. NELSON Principal,
