-:SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY:- It is time to gaze into the crystal ball and check the future dreams of the Seniors of 1962-63. As we gaze into the future, ten years from now we see Milton Bell as a policeman directing traffic into the city of Chicago. And there is Clyde Wil- liams now a successful business tycoon and Jessie Starks is his private secretary. And what is this? Why, itis Odessa Allen, an Airline Hostess for H..EH.Air1ines running from Hayti to St. Louis and owned by George Hayden, Lee Andrew Ellis and James Hersey. As we gaze further we see Alex Mason, a suc- cessful lawyer on Wall Street in New York. His law firm partners are Thomas Frazier and Jerry Jennings. Gee, can you believe it, twenty years from now we still see Queenie Walls looking for the right man to marry. And there goes Clarice Mack still trying to get to roll call on time. Ah! There they ate, the famous Magnificent Seven, a combo composed of Bettrain Thomas, Ro- bert Edwards, Lloyd Chillers, Thomas Klyce, Arbie Barringet, Joseph Presbetty and Eligha Presberty. Tonight they will play at Robert's Show Lounge in Chicago. As the ball turns we see Rolf Taylor as star quarterback of the St. Louis Cardinals and Dennis Ware as star fullback. And there is little Henry Huff- man down in Honolulu campaigning for Governor of the State of Hawaii. Here we are in Boston where we see Warren West, Fred Suttle, Emerson Maxie, Garry Lumpkins and James Taylor comprising the starting lineup of the Boston Celtics. In New Orleans, Louisiana we see William Whit- aker, the greatest band major of them all, leading the Mardi Gras Parade of 1973. Will wonders never cease? There is Howard Allen now a married man with two lovely children and tonight he is replacing Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show. Remember Leroy Pottwood, Eugene Portwood, Glenn Wilson and Elbert Castleberty? There they .are now living in Paris and we are told they are four of the world's most celebrated artists. Once again we return to james Ditch in Pemiscot County, Missouri. What do we see? Why, thereis farmer Lloyd Key getting ready to take his cotton to be ginned. In New York we see Albert Miller now a lion tamer for Ringling Brothers Circus. Andi Phillip Henry has just closed a multi-miliion dollar deal in Los Angeles. He is now a real estate broker in California. Henry Thomas is now an accountant for the Bureau of Internal Revenue.'And what's this? There is Willie Mae Jessie. She is a registered nurse work- ing at Providence Hospital in Michigan. Nadine Folks is happily married and is now living in New York. . Ida Millet, world famous model, is on her way to Paris, France. In Hollywood we find the Anderson and Sneed Sewing Center owned by Bobbie Anderson and Lee Atma Sneed. They have just finished two dresses for the famous Barbara Castlebetry. The singer's manager is Jerry Jennings. And there is Dorothy Lewis now a private secre- tary working at M.G.M. Studiosa Helen Hardy is now a famous painter in Los Angeles. Shirley Fultz owns 9. Publishing Company in New Jersey and Willie Mae Gamble is her business manager. In Gary, Indiana, we find Lennis Ware surrounded by twenty first graders and she is teaching them to sing Twinkle, twinkle Little Star. Hattie Eggles- ton is appearing on her own television program origi- nating in St. Louis, Missouri. Mable Lean Williams is now a great vocalist appearing in various places throughout the United States. And whats this? Hattie Harston is a pro- minent woman lawyer and is doing work at her best in Detroit. And wouldnit you know it! There is Phyllis Pittman working in an Orphan Home in Hong Kong, China. Gloriastine Dunklin is now a famous surgeon and Rachel Dunbar is her chief assistant at Walter Reed Hospital. The head nurse is none other than Versia Johnson. I On the next stop we see Lavera Jones receiving her Mastetis Degree from Lincoln University and making plans to enter U.C.L.A. to study on a PhD. Willie Versia Ellis is now an elementary school teacher and is now living in Washington D.C. Shirley Jennings is Dean of Women at Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Missouri. And there is Mary Mack operating her own beauty school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Katie Thompson is now teaching science at Dear Ole Central High. And now we learn that Bobbie Miller has just become Elementary Principal here at Central. Bob- bie Boyd is now a famous heart specialist in Wash- ington, D.C. Diann Pittman has just been employed as a research worker in the Health Education and Welfare Department of the United States. Yes, it's Alfred Lumpkins and he has been com- missioned to Captain in the United States Air Force. Last but not least, we see Gloria Tteadwell as an executive of one of our largest shoe factories.
