Senior Cfficers Bottom Row: Denise Chamblee, Debbie Hoffman, Let- tie Finney. Row 2: Jeffjanish, Charles Frelix. Class History In the fall of 1968, 526 seniors came to Central with many new duties and opportunities awaiting them. Among those duties were the preparations for the Homecoming and Sno Daze activities. They chose Debbie Hoffman as President, J eff J anish and Charles Frelix as Vice-Presidents, Denise Chamblee as Secre- tary, and Lettie Finney as Treasurer. In March, the seniors went on their long awaited annual class trip. They flew by jet to New York and were bussed to VVashington. Everyone who went agreed that it was a worthwhile trip and an unforget- table experience. ln May, the seniors were the guests ofhonor at the Junior-Senior Prom. Later that month was a planned picnic for all seniors called uSenior Day? Their final farewell to their high school days at Central was graduation day. Parents, faculty, and friends came to the St. Paul Auditorium to View the ceremony.
