To You . . . MISS HILDA ANDERSON we dedicate this 1956 issue of the CEHISEAN. Your help, your guid- ance, your open door to all our problems, and above all your cheerfulness has been an inspira- tion to us throughout our years at Central. ' x J LW, Y Int. HW Y f .,rt.- N, During the depression years, high school seniors were greatly concerned with the problem of securing jobs or fur- thering their education, and they had rea- son to be so. Today the picture is somewhat differ- ent, yet difficult in another sense. Most of you will secure jobs that you seek or be- gin to educate yourselves as you plan. In a material sense, you probably have an optimistic future ahead. The obstacle to success lies in the inability of many people to live in peace with their fellow man. The spirit of neighborliness and be- ing kind to one another needs to be re- kindled. The problem today is the great need to improve human relationships so that we can live happily together in an atomic age. Each of us in building a better to- morrow should be mindful that maintain- ing moral, spiritual and social standards is as important as the race for material success. HAROLD T. LEHTO
