Team play began The firsT Time one of our cave-dwelling ancesfors wenT To The aid of his relaTive or his neighbor againsf an enemy or beasT of prey. Their successful defense TaughT Them The value of co-operaTive efforT as opposed To lone-wolf isolaTion. The idea has ex- panded in Thousands of ways. AlmosT everyone undersTands iTs meaning and pracfices iT from Time To Time. The wonder is ThaT, knowing iTs advanTages, we do noT all do IOOVO all of The Time.
