And because of the various lines of endeavor represented within its membership, their solu- tion has been perfected. This governing body consists of Presidents of all organizations, the Presidents of the Senior, Junior and Sophomore Classes, the Captains of all athletic teams, the two major heads of the student publications, l 1 and one member elected at large by each class. Students holding office the first semester have retained their places the second semester. The first important action taken by the Council at the beginning of the year was to boost the sale of the Student Activity tickets, and to push it to 1 success. These tickets admitted holders to all football, basketball and baseball games, all student plays, debates, and the weekly edition of the school paper. For the first time in the history of O. H. S., such tickets were inaugurated. being sold by the weekly installment plan, or outright. By this means, students received the benefit of all activities for a nominal sum, while the various lines of activity received a certain percentage from the main sum.
