They couldn't move the hall though, and had to punt again. That was the point at which Bruceton beqan their move to- ward the only first-half score by either team. The Blue Tigers really broke the game open in the third quarter wben they quieklv capitalized on 1 Lexington fumble and turned it into a touchdown. Willie Millner took the kiekofi back to the 40-yard strine. Lex- inzton ran two plays and on the third, Ferguson fumbled and Bucky Wiles fell on the ball, qiv- ing Brueeton possession on the Lex- infvton 45. Thev wasted no time in scerinrl. as Edwards went all trc way into the end vone on the first nlav. The fleet halfbaek broke straight over the center, wifzeled free from three would-he taeklers. and went down the side lines for the six-nointer. The score proved to hc the straw that broke the eamel's back, as Brueeton came right back to score another touchdown aeainst the somewhat dazed Red Tigers only six minutes later in the quarter. Diminutive halfback Donald Wil- liams, a substitute, capped a 45- yard drive with a 3-yard scorlnz plunge to give Brueeton their final TD of the title tilt. Bayless pass- ed to Charles Lovvc for the extra point.
