Y-Teens was a group of girls united by a set of common goals: to grow as cz person, to grow in friend- ship with people of all races, religions, and nationali- ties, and to grow in the knowledge and love of God. Growth was to be through new friends, experiences, and opportunities. They tried to carry out their goals and ideals in activities and proiects throughout the year. Y-Teens is affiliated with the local and national Y.W.C.A. and gives the organization financial support through dues. Scarseth, L. Boldt, D. Aderhold, C. Doughty, S. Engh. Front row: S. Sagen, L. The group handled the distribution of friendship pictures to underclassmen as their main money making proiect. At Christmas they conducted a hanging of the greens, when school windows were decorated with Christmas scenes and wreaths were placed in the halls. They sponsored two college girls by giving thern assis- tance in the form of spending money and clothes money. Y-Teens also contributed to the World Fellowship which helps to develop Y.W.C.A. centers in foreign countries. The officers were President Bette Lee, Vice-President Joyce Cleveland, Secretary JoAnn Schroeder, and Trea- surer Barb Koeller. Their advisor was Mrs. Dahler. Mr. Pellowski was the Booster's advisor. The Booster Business Staff handles the financial as- pect of the Booster. Subscribers could buy a listing for the sponsor's page, a Booster, or both.
