Central Was, ls, and Shall Be The school year of 1966-1967 has been an eventful one. The traditional events, Fall Festival, Sophomore Party, Sock Hop, TWIRP, Alumni Dance, and many others have taken place with their natural success. New ac- quaintances have been made, some friendships have broken up, tests have been passed, and flunked. And we have learned a great deal, both from books, and from experiencing all that we have done. If we did not learn chemistry, at least we learned perseverance. In an obvious manner, this past year has been uhm.. gr--Q unique. For this is the last year of Central as we know it. Progress was necessary in LaCrosse and we finally were allocated the funds for the new school. We now have that school. lt is new and anticipating occupancy. For the seniors it was a special year. We were the last senior class before the transition. For the underclassmen it will be a new and exciting move. It is only fitting that we pay a special tribute to our school by showing Central as it was, is, and shall be. . . always . . . Win.. -s.,,.
