Planning the program for Student Affairs are Thom Hart, Ted Curtis, and Roger Brown. student affairs s.a.w. goal set at $2,250 faculty follies full of fun with an all-time goal of $2,250, chs students got to- gether during affairs week for fun, games, and sorrow at the sight of empty wallets, kicking off the fund raising activities was the march 30 aud. student chairman thorn hart and faculty advisor mr. ted curtis, along with student council members, organized various money making projects, students could contribute to the “ugliest man , smash the name of the favorite”teachers, or send a telegram to their loved ones, the traidtional slave auction added to the fun as well as the student vs. faculty basketball games and faculty follies. Students release inner frustrations as they beat a car for Student Affairs Week. 23

Sneaking toward the fireplace, the Grinch begins his escape with the roast beast. Cindy Lou Who gleefully requests Santa Claus, alias Grinch. for a small glas. of water. Christmas aud Christmas spirit reigns, grinch gets into the act students got it together with Christmas spirit december 22. a dr. seuss book, how the grinch stole Christmas, was adapted for 1970 Christmas assembly, senior bill rector depicted the mean, grinchy grinch, complete with green tights and snowshoes. other members of the cast included the who family and the townspeople, all chosen by director, miss sievert. gifts were given to the foreign exchange students during the assembly, ending the aud in a spirited way a cappella sang the traditional hallelujah chorus. 25
