DESSERTS ARE FUN The members of the Girls’ Cooking Club have leamed about the different types of foods and many methods of cooking them. Every week during their club meeting the members cooked and ate some type of food. They enjoyed making such des- setts as cookies, cup cakes, and candy apples. Sponsor—Mrs. Cathy Motsinger. A PRETTIER PLACE With the help of their sponsor, Mrs. Cornelia Sim- mons, Garden Club members, Jackie Douthit, Char- les King, and Stephen Thompson, put their club’s efforts into helping to beautify the grounds at Central High School. At Christmas, green was placed in the planters in the front of the building. In the fall tulip and iris bulbs were planted to enhance the beauty of the school grounds.
