Ten firsts and eight seconds were won by Toledo athletes. Captain Monetta won the gold medal for the highest number of points scored. getting 16. while Thurstin received the bronze medal for third place with eleven points. Daub. of Fostoria. won the silver medal with fifteen points. Three Northwestern Ohio records were broken while one Toledo High School record was smashed. Souder added 10 feet to the 12- pound hammer record. making 125 ft. Q in. This breaks the school reco1'd of 19,0 feet made by Schmidt some years ago. Bassett made 10 ft. in. in the pole vault. while Schoenfeldt lowered the mile record to 5:06 Q-5. Vail and Monetta divided honors in the 50 and 100-yard sprints. NIONETTA AND VAIL S'r.aR'r1No 16:5

Thurstin and Rakestraw outclassed their opponents in the hur- dles. taking first and second respectively. Pond and Thurstin took first and second in the high jumps, the bar being at 5 ft. Q12 in. Huines took second to Bassett in the pole vault, making a splendid showing. Ohee and Brown took first and second in the 14-mile. coming in pretty nearly tied. Schoenfeldt won the mile easily. Captain Blonetta won first in the shot put with 39 ft. 712 in., and second place in the discus. Thurstin took second in the running broad juinp. The mile relay with llonroe.
