THE 1911AI.MANAC The Glen Qliluhs NE ofthe inost successful organizations had its beginning this year. nainely. the High School Glee Clubs. These were started niainly through the efforts of Blr. Gaynian, who was aided by llr. lVylli. The work was eagerly taken up by large classes which inet in the Annex once a week for in- struction. Under a capable instructor the work progressed rapidly. Therefore, it was Puor. .It s. Wxmu decided that a concert by the United Glee Clubs should be given, and preparations were made at once for this event. which took place in llarch. The concert was well attended and very successful in every way. and plainly showed the talent of the clubs. Financially the clubs made good. The oflficers were well chosen and qualified to hold the clubs up to a high standard. The members deserve 11llll'll credit for their co-operation. Many thanks are due Mr. lvylli for his help and patience during the year. Shortly after the concert the clubs were disbanded for the year. and everyone looks forward to a larger and better club during the coming year. E C' Q Htl
