Sikeston, Mo. Dr. Z. M. Williams, Lexington, Mo. My Dear Sir: I want to state, having had three of our daughters attend your school, most of which time was under your management, in fact each of them were there while you were in charge, that we are much pleased with the work and management generally. Our youngest daughter will probably attend next year, and, of course, we want her to attend Central. VVe think the ability of the whole faculty is excellent, and the interest taken by the faculty excellent, and the management first class. Very truly yours, A. J. MATTHEWS. Dodge City, Kansas. Dr. Z. M. Williams, Lexington, Missouri. My Dear Dr. Williams: As the time is near at hand when my daughter will be through and return from your college, I feel that in justice to yourself, others of the faculty, and the school generally, I should say that the matter of finding a good, thorough educational institution with the best Christian influences were somewhat difficult. The fact is Mrs. lvlillikan, with our daughter Hazel visited at some other colleges, or rather one, and investigated others before going to Central. In this connection I wish to say that we have been delighted with the progress that our daughter has made at Central. I have never at any time felt any uneasiness about the influence or care of Hazel since I first visited her at Central and certainly take pleasure in recommending your college to fathers and mothers who have girls and want to find a good Christian and thorough educational place to educate them. You are permitted to refer any parents wishing information along the line above indicated to me. Wishing you continued success in the great and good work that you and your associates have been and are doing for women, I remain, Very truly yours, H. F. MILLIKAN, United States Land Agent. Lamonte, Mo. Dr. Z. M. Williams, Lexington, Missouri. Dear Dr. Williams: I hardly know how to express my apprecia- tion of the character of the Work done at Central College for Women- what it has done and is still doing for my daughters. The simple fact that you have had Marion with you for the past five years, and Helen for one year, should be conclusive evidence of my high estima- tion of Central College and its management. We note with what I suppose is natural parental pride, the development of our girls into well-rounded Christian womanhood. I consider Central College an ideal home for girls in every particular, as is evidence by the fact that we send all that we have to you. Thorough education is very important, but is necessarily a' rather slow process, and if the parents would give their daughters more time for character building, the ehiciency of college work would be more highly appreciated. ' We are anxiously looking forward to the close of the second year, when we can have our girls at home for a time. I U Very truly yours, J. R. CLARK, Mgr. Lamonte Lumber Co. Houstonia, Mo. Dr. Z. M. Williams, Lexington, Missouri. I Dear Sirl Since having patronized your school for twelve years. we feel that a word of Commendation for Central would not be out of place. After carefully examining the course given at Central, and finding your school two years higher than other female colleges of the different denominations, we were led to decide for Central. VVe being Blaptists, it became a question of very great importance-a matter of vital interest. We felt that we Wanted the best school privileges obtainable for our daughters, as well as vigilant watch care in a good Christian home, so we decided in favor of Central College, and we feel that the time and money spent in a business way one of the best investments we ever made. Accept many thanks for your kindness in the past. YVitl1 best wishes. . MR. AND MRS. B. F. MCCLFRE.
