Playing an active role in many school activities, the Drama Club seeks to create a better appreciation and understanding of the dramatic arts. These as- piring young thespians, under the direction of Mr. Leroy, gain experience in all realms of dramatic art through such varied activities as caring for backstage equipment and applying make-up for all school plays and pageants. This lively group has enjoyed several social functions, also, this year as a result of such money-making projects as selling stuffed animals. I Sclence Fostered b the PHYSIC CL B l The Physics Club was l founded this year to provide students vvith an interest and proven ability with a more iii f thorough and well rounded un- derstanding of this phase of science. The club consists of iun- iors and seniorsfall of whom have had physicsfmeeting one night a week after school. Their course of study, taken from a P.S.S.C. Physics text- book, covers the basic physics course through a different manner of presentation. The Future Nurses' Club of Central Dauphin exists to inform its members about the nursing profession and to acquaint them with various hospitals and the many different fields of nursing. This is attained chiefly through films, speakers, and field trips to hospitals. The club also sends representatives to conventions, the most important one being the F.N.A. State Convention in Pitts- burgh. Some of the proiects undertaken by the Future Nurses included volunteer work at the tu- berculosis center, and preparing baskets of food, clothing, and gifts for a needy family at Christmas. To finance these proiects and their field trips, they sold submarines, Christmas candy, candles, and Easter candy. , . The F.N.A. officers are Vicki Reilly, presi- dent, Joyce Smith, vice-president, Debby Rose- ner, secretary, and Carole Peace, treasurer. The advisor is Mrs. Mariory Kline, the school nurse. As..
