Yetter D Stauffer J. Chronister. Our Student Council fulfills a need for understanding among the student body, faculty and administration. At bi-weekly meetings, the Council airs com- plaints of students, discusses improvements for the school, and fosters concern for an active and useful student life. The Council is advised by Mr. Wharton Bittle. Each homeroom is represented on the Council, comprising a membership of forty-five members. Central Dauphin was represented this year at the local convention of Student Councils. The Council also promoted the Annual Youth Festival, sponsored the Charity Drive, and co-sponsored Homecoming. Operating the Student Complaint Committee, devising a school Code of Ethics, and helping to plan cafeteria meals were a few of the Council's functions this year. OFFICERS: Mr. Bittle fAdvisorJ, T.
