A Spec MRS. GLADYS PEDLOW, Home and School Visitor, is responsible for student attendance, employment, instruction of shut-ins, and help- ing with personal problems. She has attended Hood College, has a B.S. Degree from Carnegie Institute of Tech- nology, and also attended Pennsylvania State University for graduate work. MISS MARGARET WHITE, librarian at Cen- tral Dauphin East, has been kept busy estab- lishing the new school library. Miss White comes to us from Millersville State College where she received her B.S. degree in Library Science. ialized Personnel MRS. BETTY ElCHELBERGER is the dental hygienist for Central Dauphin Senior and Jun- ior Highs. She has received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Temple University. MR. EMORY E. BUCHANAN, Central Dauphin's Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, was graduated from the Harrisburg Academy and Central Pennsylvania Business School. He also has attended Yale University and has taken the Carnegie Leadership Course. MISS JEANINE MENTZER IS our new li- brarian whose responsibility is to keep the library well-stocked with current periodicals, reference material, 'and the latest novels for the students' reading enioyment. ln addition, she is the advisor of the library club. Miss Mentzer attended Lebanon Valley Col- lege, and was graduated from Millersville State College.

M.A. I5 GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT The Guidance Department of the Central Dauphin High Schools, under the direction of Mr. E. Brad Hartman, is interested in student welfare. The duties of a guidance counselor cover a vast scope, includ- ing aiding the student in personal adiustment, choice ot curriculum, and planning of his future. Students may consult th e i r counselors about problems, whether ot a school or personal nature, and be sure of sound, friendly advice.

...af MR. HAVERSTICK is Central Dauphin's Su- pervisor of Maintenance and Repair. For six years he has been keeping our buses in ex- cellent condition. Previously Mr. Haverstick worked as a mechanic and a machinist. Qs A si' 5 . i rff.-frm.. . .iw MRS. KLINE, Central Dauphin's nurse, has been with the school ever since it opened. She is in charge of all physical examinations, school insurance, and the many accidents which oc- cur at the school. She is also advisor to the Future Nurses of America. Mrs. Kline graduated from Bloornsburg State College, where she re- ceived her B.S. She received her R.N. degree at Bloomsburg Hospital. She did graduate work at Shippensburg State College and the Univer- sity of Colorado. MRS. GLORIA TITTLE, school nurse at Cen- tral Dauphin East, takes charge of examinations and cares for iniuries which occur at the school. Mrs. Tittle attended the University of Pennsyl- vania where she received her R.N. She has worked as an industrial nurse, a school nurse, and a head nurse. MR. MURPHY, our Director of Audio Visual Aids, was previously a teacher at Central Dau- phin. He attended Shippensburg State College where he received his B.S. degree and did graduate work at Temple University.
