dministrative Assistants MR. PAUL LANDIS Mr. Landis is the Administrative Assistant in charge of transpnrmtiotn tor Central Dauphin Jointure. Formerly he was our Assistant Principal. Previous to this, he taught health and physical education. Mr. Landis received his B.S. degree at East Strouds- burg State College. At Columbia University he received his M.A., and he did graduate State University. work at Pennsylvania MR. HAROLD PECK Mr. Peck, the Vocational and Adult Education di- rector, plans the curriculum for shop courses and directs several proiects. He attended Carnegie Institute of Technology, where he received his Bachelor ot Science Degree, and the University ot Pittsburgh, where he received his Master of Education degree. Mr. Peck's hobbies are fishing, traveling, playing bridge, and tollowing all sports. His home lite revolves around his wife Catherine and his daughter Babs, who is a Junior at Central Dauphin. t 1, a.aw,- -t . f MR. J. RUSSEL EDWARDS The main iobs ot Mr. Edwards, Administrative Assistant in charge ot Business, are keeping accounts and buying tor the school, He began his work as a language teacher, teaching Latin, French, ancl Spanish. He was supervising principal of several school districts. Mr. Edwards studied at Muhlenberg College where he received his Ph.B. and did his graduate work at the University ot Pittsburgh. He is deeply interested in Pennsylvania folklore and his homelite centers around his wife and two chil- dren. This year Mr. Edward's ottice has been transferred to the new Central Dauphin East. I3

M.A. I5 GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT The Guidance Department of the Central Dauphin High Schools, under the direction of Mr. E. Brad Hartman, is interested in student welfare. The duties of a guidance counselor cover a vast scope, includ- ing aiding the student in personal adiustment, choice ot curriculum, and planning of his future. Students may consult th e i r counselors about problems, whether ot a school or personal nature, and be sure of sound, friendly advice.
