Umburger Robert Felsburg The Central Dauphin Joint School Board, composed of thirty-nine delegates representing each of the seven districts, meets once each month to plan the opera- tion of the school program. Their many re- sponsibilities include supervision of the facilities, organization of the school pro- gram, and the hiring of the teachers for all four schools of the Central Dauphin Jointure. A core committee fulfills the major portion of the responsibilities delegated to the Board. This group is composed of two directors from each district and also meets monthly. This Board is truly the backbone of our school system and the managing force which keeps Central Dauphin mov- ing as smoothly as it does.
