Acting East High has experienced a very humble beginning. With this humbleness came sincere devotion and the desire to improve. The stu- dent body, faculty, and administration have grown together in experiences and accomplish- ments. With graduation comes the end of one phase of developmentg but, more important, it marks the beginning of a more adult approach to life. The time of being on your own has finally arrived, and you have the opportunity of putting to use the formal phase of your education. We who remain here at East can be thankful for the tradition and school spirit that the class of 1964 has helped to mold. No matter where your paths may lead, always remember that the spirit of East will go with you and that the doors of East High School will always be open to welcome your return. Acting ADAM B. I am very happy to have been associated with the Central Dauphin Joint Schools since its beginning, and I have been able to see this school system grow to what it is today. Congratulations- and best wishes to each and every member of the first graduating class of Central Dauphin East High! Your class has been steeped in tradition: you have created many firsts, which will last foreverg you have shown that success can be gained by honest efforts. This is truly the spirit of East.
