ff? fr A' C-nrC'L-F Q Q , r JIT Illlfll it sh The 9th Core classes KA and Bl were happy to present during the Evaluation Period of our School, the culmination of their second unit -- Finding One's Place in our World of Work. We used as our theme Building a Better World. To portray the solving of our problem, - What Preparations are Necessary for our Future Security? , the classes wrote a skit using our theme for the title of the playlet. The skit stressed two main points - namely: 1. The need for juniors EXPLORING themselves, the community jobs, the other many available jobsg 2. The need for PRE PARING early for life's work by taking advantage of the offerings and experiences found in our own school-Central. To make more emphatic these points, advice was given by such characters as World of Workg Explorationg Preparation, The Present, The Future. We hope our culmination stimulated the thinking of not only junior high students, but also members of the senior high. Seniors, members of the faculty, and administration say Congratulations Miss Ruff and Core class 9, for bringing to Central an excellent assemb1y. 1Iifit 's.,. SUJIIIUIHUFEH 5 i V 4 The two sections ofthe tenth grade have prospered tremendously under the guidance and assistance of Mr. Robert J. Paige and Mrs. Geraldine Hall. Although Mrs. Hall has only been with us since January, she has shown much enthusiasm and interest. Certainly, we are very appreciative of this. The Harvest Dance, sponsored annually by the sophomore class, was our first and most successful affair, In addition to this activity, we spon- sored a skating party and participated in the popularity contest. Much of the success of these three projects is attributed to the fact that our president and vice president have worked verywell. In IOA, Sheldon Murray serves as our executive officer and Earle Jones is his assistant, Tyrone Hoes is the president in the 1015 section and Reese Johnson is Tyrone Hoe's assistant.
