Science Department Widens Knowledge By Experience And Fun The science department provides pos- sibly the most enjoyment from high school. The labs in particular, which are manda- tory in every science course. Sounds of shock and surprise fill the biology rooms as students dissect everything f r o rn beans to frogs. In the next room, things are quieter as physics fiends use slide rules to predict which will fall faster--a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks. Chemistry students are often shocked at the unexpected developments in the lab such as the instantaneous explosion of cer- tain chemicals and the consequent black mark on the ceiling.
