SENIORS: You are now reaching one stage of your life, that being graduation from high school. I believe that our schools have done a good job in preparing you to take your rightful place in society. It is my hope and wish that your education not stop at this time, because the job of earning a living is be- coming more and more a competitive process. The chances of success in any job you undertake will be directly related to the way in which you have prepared yourself. Wherever you make your home in later life, be sure that you respect the rights of your neighbor, and be a good citizen--and then happiness and success will be yours. Sincerely yours, Elfed H. Jones Elementary Supervisor GREETINGS TO THE CLASS OF 1958: I sincerely hope your 'days at Central High have given you the ability and desire to give to life the best that you can. Use common sense at all times in the ap- plication of the principles learned in the last years of your education. Be honest and upright, loyal to your country, your church, your family, your friends and yourself. One of the best ways to be happy and to reduce your problems is to extend your heart and mind into the problems of others and help them. My congratulations to the Yearbook Staff and their advisor and as you look through the pages of this book, I hope that you will recall happy and pleasant memories. I wish you continued success in the future. Sincerely, Hester L. Bowman 4

MESSAGES FRGM SENIORS: You should be very proud as you graduate this year. It is a privilege and an honor to graduate from High School and doubly so for you, for you are the second group to graduate from Central Columbia County Joint Schools. The pride you feel now will grow with each passing year. I hope that you will always have a strong loyalty to the school. I am certain that your class will prove themselves individually in the world of today. You have had the advantages of twelve years of education, the richest of all advantages. Don't lay this education aside, but rather make it work for you. There has never been a greater promise of opportunity, but remember it doesn't appear packaged and tied with a pretty ribbon. Op- portunity is where you find it, and when it is found, use it We will miss you and we look forward to your re- turn, so come and visit with us often. Donald N. Rishe Supervising Principal of High School ADMINISTRATIC TO THE CLASS OF 1958: When a school group enters into its senior year, it begins to show its quality and worth. Yours is a class of promise. To every member of the class I offer my congratu- lations. Marion T. Adams Supervising Principal
