FIRST YEAR ORGANIZATION 1A 1B President-Louise Pearlman President-Alan Crossley Vice-President-Gwen Griffin Secretary-Jim McLean Secretary-Gwen McArthur 1C 1D President-Mary Fawcett President-Fred Harding Vice-President-Tom Clinkskill Vice-President-Edith Scott Secretary-Bob Lockhart Secretary-Tom Nomura 1F 1G President-Gwen McLachlan President-Mae McMaster Vice-President-Leland Seig V ice-President-Don McEwen Secretary-Elaine McLeod Secretary-Abel Schwartzfeld Treasurer-Bob Lennox 1H 1K President-Ronald Henry President-Alan Mackie Vice-President-Victor Rouse Vice-President-Harold White Secretary-Mildred King Secretary-Clive Newman LITERARY lA The contributions from 1A for the Literary Society meetings were g a violin solo by Gwen Griffin and piano solos by Eleanor Jefferson, Beatrice Loney, and Roma Matthews. 1B For the Literary Society, the 1B boys put on two plays Lochinvar and 'IRadio Jumblers which were appreciated by the lirst year audience. 1C lst year Literary Society which was presided over by Keith Logan for the first meeting, received a few, not unworthy con- tributions from Isobel Chalmers, Nora Hall, Margaret McLeod, Thelma Goodwin, and Jean Hubbsl The contributions from Isobel Chalmers, were in the form of readings, which were both very humorous. Nora Hall's acrobatic number was much appreciated by the audience. The other contributions were musical numbers. 1D Thelma Caulder, the main jester in the room lent her talent to fill in the empty spaces in the programme of the lst year Literary Society. She gave a number of jokes which were very amusing. Florence Jolly also made a contribution of a reading entitled Leetle Bateesef' 101
