BETTY THOMPSON—Fun-loving farmer¬ ette who seeks pleasure in outdoor sports. She hopes to go to Normal next year; DOREEN UPTON—Plans to train at the Holy Cross next year. Gay and noisy, she is a happy addition to Room 5. BOB URTON—Another ambitious lad. He is a member of the School Cadets and a good student. Future—engineering. ALBERT VANNER—One of Room 2 ' s staunch supporters of Joe Stalin and who excels at Social Studies. MARGERY WALKER—Is a member of C.G.I.T. Council and the Sigma Tau Sor¬ ority. An all out sports fan. GORDON WATT—Comes from High Riv¬ er but likes Calgary and Central. Col¬ lects records and is fond of Social Studies. BOB WATSON—Secretary of the Phi Beta Phi and a member of Hi-Y. Bob scored many times for Senior Basketball team. DON WEBB—Short, blond Romeo of Room 2. Don is a good student and doesn’t take life too serious. Member of I.S.C.F. DON WEBBER — Central ' s outstanding basketball player and coach of the Junior team. Has a future in engineering. BILL WHEATLEY—A member of Gamma Pfai, Hi-Y and Sigma Rho Frat. Wants to be a lawyer. Likes roller skating. PHYLLIS WILLIAMSON—Is a member of the Bowling Club and Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority. Attends in mornings only. BETTY WILSON—A tall brunette of Room 3 who hails from Rockyford. Her inter¬ ests are music and! the Air Force. GEORGE WILSON—Is often seen with Al¬ bert Vanner and gloating over a Chem. test. He is a good student. BILL ZELIZNIK—A member of the Hi-Y and Bowling Club. Wants to be a tele¬ grapher. He collects jazz records. SALLY O’CONNOR—A former St. Hilda’s student. Sally is a Delta Phi 1 Gamma member and fond of sports. ANNETTE RAVIN —M.G.Z. member who drove teachers to desperation with her antics. However, Annette left C.C.I, early in January. PAULINA LAZO—Fascinated by the Navy, Paulina likes dancing, shows,, hamburgers, and, all sports, especially hockey!! JACK MOORE—Jack was only with us a short time before joining the R.C.N.V.R. in the Christmas holidays. DON WHITTAKER—Appears to be a quixotic lad. Claims the termites too numerous fo a peaceful snooze. Another hopeful engineer.

GLADYS RUDDY—This ' happy-go-lucky member of Room 5 wants to be a school . teacher. Is always ready to laugh. LENA RUMKE—Comes from down Leth¬ bridge way. Her hobbies are photography and dancing. Jitterbugging excluded. KATIE SCHMIDT—Her main ambition is to pass Trig and then go to Normal School. She likes all outdoor sports. SHEILA SCOTT—Is a former student of Havergal but likes Central. A member of the Delta Phi Gamma Sorority. MARY SEELEY—A French lass; enjoys Biology classes (?). We wish her luck in her next year at Normal School. HELEN SHEARER—Art Editor of the Analecta. Comes to school in the morn¬ ings only. Works at the Bay. PAT SHEEPY—A genius at Algebra and Trig. She is a member of the Sigma Delta Gamma and Council Rep. of Room 5. MILDRED SHOULDICE—Hopes to attend McGill University and take up medicine. A member of the Senior Hi-Y. JACK SIGAL—Has not yet picked his am¬ bition but he will be a success at what¬ ever he does. An amateur photographer. DON SKINNER—Room 6’s war stamp pur¬ chaser and a member of the Eta Beta Pi. An ambitious lad and well liked by all. JACK SMITH—Is President of the Eta Beta Pie, Treasurer of Students ' Council, and Vice-President of Room 2. KEN SMITH—Is a free thinker if we ever saw one. His ambition is to be a chemist. He is a former Sea Cadet. PAULINE SMITH—Plans to go to Colum¬ bia University to take medicine. A mem¬ ber of the Emuna Sorority. DORA SMOLENSKY—Intends to go to New York to train to be a Hebrew Teach¬ er. An excellent student. ELNA STAUDINGER—Likes the classics, riding and writing letters (not to anyone, of course). Another future nurse. NANCY TAYLOR—New to Central this year who comes from Ontario. Plays basketball for the Senior Team. RAY THARP—A member of the Eta Beta Pie Frat. and Humor Editor of the Anal¬ ecta. Plays hockey and golf. ENA THOMAS — Pert newcomer from Langdon who hopes to become a teacher and admits she has no dislikes. A
