Member of the Bowling Club. Hails, from. Hanna. MARJORIE NIXON—Is a cheerful little girl who enjoys school in general. Excels in Algebra and likes dancing, bowling. REX NORTH—Discharged from R.C.A.F. Well known in C.C.I., was President last year. Is a member of the K.K.T. DICK OLDAKER—Is a Major in the Army Cadets and a member of the Calgary Highlanders. Future—Civil Engineer. A. J. OLIVER—President of Senior Girls’ Hi-Y and prominent basketball and track star. In the Sigma Tau Sorority. MARK OLSEN—Ambition is to be an en¬ gineer and he spends his spare time as an amateur photographer. CONNIE PAPWORTH—Member of the Senior Girls ' Hi-Y and the Sigma Lambda Chi. Vice-President of Room 3. JEAN PATTERSON—Well known in Cal¬ gary musical circles, Jean has on many oc¬ casions, thrilled us with her lovely voice. DAVE PEARLMAN—Member of A.Z.A. and Jewish Movement. Is very interested in Canadian politics, reading, golfing, etc. BETH PEARSON—President of the Alpha Gamma and a member of Senior Girls’ Hi- Y. She has a pleasant personality. BERT PEELE—A likeable fell ow who plays hockey for the Scarboro Hawks. Bert comes to school in the mornings only. LOIS PORTER—Has won fame as a rider. A member of the Kappa Zi Sorority and a Miss Canada. Lois is well liked by all. PAT QUINT—A former Westernite who plans to take up veterinary surgery in Wisconsin, LI.S.A. BILL ROBERTSON—Has as his ambition to be an electrical engineer. He collects jazz and classical records. CLARE ROBERTSON— Dir hails from Coaldale but likes Calgary very much. He is a member of the Eta Beta Pi Frat. KEITH ROBIN—Writer of Room 2 Biog¬ raphies and ex-drummer of Edmonton Air Cadets. Sells shoes in his spare time. HARVEY ROBINSON—A member of tire Tau Etta Nu. Is a math genius who keeps all amused with his corny jokes.

President of Room 5. MILDRED McLAGGAN—This pleasant gal has ambitions to become a psychologist in future years. She likes reading. SARAH McMULLAN—Vice-President of Room 5 and a member of Senior Hi-Y. She is a cheerful girl. A future nurse. ELLEN-ANN MILLARD—Charming mem¬ ber of the Sigma Alpha Tau, usually seen with Louise Byers. Excels in Chem. HAROLD MILLICAN—Member of K.K.T. and Hi-Y. Hal is every teacher’s pride and joy and is often used as their example. MARNEY MILNER—Clever and talented musician and a member of the Phi Beta Zi. Hopes to become a nurse. MARY LOU MOORE—Is planning to fin¬ ish school this year. A superb skater and a member of the Bowling Club. JEAN MORRIS—Newcomer to Central this year and a popular miss. Belongs to the Bowling Club. Has many friends here. BILL MULLOY—“Doc” wants to take up medicine after he gets out of Central. He is a member of the Delta Rho. Jitterbugging excluded. KATIE SCHMIDT—Her main ambition is to pass Trig and then go to Normal School. She likes all outdoor sports. SHEILA SCOTT—Is a former student of Havergal but likes Central. A member of the Delta Phi Gamma Sorority. MARY SEELEY—A French lass; enjoys Biology classes (?). We wish her luck in her next year at Normal School. HELEN SHEARER—Art Editor of the Analecta. An amateur photographer. DON SKINNER—Room 6’s war stamp pur¬ chaser and a member of the Eta Beta Pi. An ambitious lad and well liked by all. JACK SMITH—Is President of the Eta Beta Pie, Treasurer of Students ' Council, and Vice-President of Room 2. KEN SMITH—Is a free thinker if we ever saw one. His ambition is to be a chemist. He is a former Sea Cadet. PAULINE SMITH—Plans to go to Colum¬ bia University to take medicine. A mem¬ ber of the Emuna Sorority. DORA SMOLENSKY—Intends to go to New York to train to be a Hebrew Teach¬ er. An excellent student. ELNA STAUDINGER—Likes the classics, riding and writing letters (not to anyone, of course).
