The 1965780 Hometnming weuL began with the QC Club and Spirit Squad electing six king and queen mndidatm un Tuesday The hopefuls were: Rhonda Ummel, Susie Kaiser, Jodie Tessendorf, Mia Roscoe, Angie Green, Theresa Newhy, Juhn Waggonoi, Chad War- ing, Jeff Kycs, Dan Brosman, Lance MeL-ikdtz, and Mike Foulk. The student body voted on Wednesday fut theii favorite. The volleyball giils battled York on Thmsday with the freshmen n'oming out victorious for the Bison. A tidditional bonfire was held at Patterson field following the games. There were shouts of approv- at when Mia Roscoe, Rhonda Ummel, Susie Kaiser, Jeff Kyes, Chad Waring, and Dan Brosman received the honor of being the top finalists Fm Hometoming Royalty. Friday after school our gym was the scene of a spirit W filled pep rally. SADD sponsored a Kissethe-pigu contest. Students contri- huted money in the name of their favorite teacher throughout the week, the teacher with the most money was faced with the prospect of kissing a live pig. John Best, a representative of the booater clubi presented the pep rally speech. The Want Ads performed at the Bison rally, lip synf- ing, Be True To Your School , and Cot Around'i, both Beach Boys classics. Later that evening the Bison Football team hosted M rated Aurora Huskies. The Bison put up a good fight before surrendering 33-7. Chad Waring and Rhonda Ummel were presented as the 1985- 1986 Homecoming Royalty during halftime activities. After the grid iron battle the student council sponsored the home- coming dance. Dancer's feet were put in motion to music supplied by Complete Music. The 2nd runnersvup pictured above are Dan Brosman and Susie Kaiser. T0 the left are Ist runners-up Jeff Kyes and Mia Roscoe. The week of October 7-11 Found the CCHS studenh kinking oft Homecom- mg, with the annual xpirrt competition. Nerds put their best feet forward on Monday's HNerd Day h competition. The fun didn't stop there, for Tuesday was generit dayv Anyone was in step it they drewed up in green and gold on Wednesday. Dress Nhoes were put on Thursday for dresvup day, Saddle shoes, high topa, and penny loafers were tom- mon on Friday's 50 s day The tdculty stepped atross the finish line First with a score of 438 points. The Seniors were runnera-up with 405 paints. A score of 30012 wac good enough to place the Freshman third. The Sophomores and Juniors were a step be- hind with 392 and 38032 points respec- tively , we a. w...
