There are many rea- sons why these people choae the profession of teaching. The majority of these scholars made this momentous decie sion when they were in middle school or high school, but a few waited until they had a year or two of college to boast about. Different aspects of teach- ing appeal to different people Being able to influence a young, personii life is one of the moat important factors As an adult they are able to he in contact with the student for up to seven hours a day; Out of this contact a mutual respect is built and the student can have a positive role model to look up to. This is very helpful when a student is struggling, with many changes and prob- lems, Fall is the favorite time of year for several of CCHS teachers. Homecoming festivi- ties play a big role in their love of this time of year. It's excite ing to see the energy and life students show at the begin- ning of the year. If tcatheis could change a few things they would cut down on extracurricular ac- tivities and try to instill the importance of sthoolwork. Overall teachers are pleased with the students at CCHSt 19
