18 Homecoming HOMECOMING: KING. Dave Ohlman. QUEEN, Shelley Richardson. This year homecoming was observed during the week of October 11-15, 1982. On Monday and Tuesday, classes started prepara- tions for the hall decorating competition; and the band, pep club, athletes, cheerleaders, and pom-pon girls voted for the 12 semifinalists for homecoming king and queen. On Wednesday, the student body voted for the 6 finalists, Thursday was the bonfire and pep rally at Pat- terson Field, and the announcement of the top 6 can- didates. Friday was the hall decorating contest, Pep Ral- ly at the City Hall parking lot, football game against 0rd, and the dance in the gym after the game. First attendants to the king and queen were Mary King, and Bill Fitzgerald. Second attendants were Carrie Holmstedt, and Dana Ruge. The Bison played a good game, but came up on the short end of the score against 0rd. The student council sponsored the dance with music by Complete Musict Homecoming: Bison vs, Ord.
