Exchange Qiudeni Celia Cortes came to Central City from San Paulo, Brazil, which is a large city of 12 millon people. She is 18 years old. Her birthday is in Jan- uary. While in Central City. she lived with the Wii- bur Church family. Her mother, Maria P. M. Cortes. is a housewife. Her father, Arnaldo Simois Cortes is a foreman of a construction company. Celia has one brother. His name is Arnaldo M. Cortes. He is now attend- ing Fisica University and some day plans to become a physician. He is 22 years old. Celia likes to travel a lot. She has been to Eng- land, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Paraguay, and the United States. Two years ago she went to Florida, Washington DC, and New York. Some of her hobbies include meeting people, music and art, to watch plays and shows, cook- ing, and a lot of sports like tennis, gymnastics, swimming, riding horses, bicycle riding, volley- ball, basketball, wind surfing, roller skating, ice skating. and water skiing. In Brazil, Celia likes to spend her weekends going to parties, movies, shows, concerts, etc. Celia is a graduate of Brazil, and when she goes back she plans to go to the University to become a lawyer. 23

22 SCOTT PULLEN October 26,1962 - June 22,1977 Our friend and classmate Scott Pullen died June 22, 1977. Although it has been several years, our memories still remind us of what a wonderful boy Scott was. He had many abilities and displayed them well.
