She is from Oslo, the capital city of Norway. She has two sisters, Sissel , 10 and Ellen, 17. ' Anita's hobbies are snow skiing, swimming, reading, drawing, and flower decoration. Anita plans to go to airline school and be an airline stewardess. She hopes to be employed by Pan American Airlines. Anita has enjoyed living with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Thompson, of Archer. During the summer, the Thompson's took a trip to New Orle- ans, Houston, Corpus Christi. and then to Old Mexico. Anita said it was very interesting, and commented how big and crowded the cities are in the United States. Anita likes Nebraska but says it is so flat, no hills or mountains in sight. Anita commented on school here and in Norway. In Norway there are six years of elementary school , and three years of high school that is more specialized, and a student takes only the classes he wants. After graduating, the student can go to trade school or college. There are no sports within the school system, and there is no pep club. I9 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS AND SPONSORS 'l ! . -. , . - 7,.
