This is an impossiblettask, for such a feeling does not lend itself to captivity. Its social life--the dances, banquets, school parties, and entertainments so im- portant to the development of each student . . . its organizations--the chance to meet more students and practice the leadership and abilities each person possesses . . . its sports--every man working together on a team . . . the backers of the team--the lively student body giving the team that needed extra push in winning a game . . . its teachers and students molded into a spirit of friendliness. During the years he has always been handy with a friendly smile and with words of encouragement. In appreciation for all he has done for us, we dedicate this 1965 Bison to Mr. Sawyers. Elementary Principal Otncc Phone 946e3055 North Ward Phone 916-2991 'By the time Central City High School students re- ceive their copy of the 1965 Bison, another school year will be written in the pages of history. While we cannot live in the past, moments of pleasure and accomplishment are long to be remem- bered. This annual, a written and pictorial of the year's happenings, will help each individual to recall the good times which were shared with others. But let us remember that the education which person received was not confined to that imparted by the school. The parent, the church, the neigh- bor, the group on the street, etc. all played an important part in our lives during the past school year. As we scan the pages of this book, let us all be thankful for the American system of education and the value which it places upon the association of individuals in conjunct activities.
