Since there was no Y-teen Valentine Dance in February, the club decided to have a slumber party instead. There wasn't much slumbering but everyone really had a good time. Even the sponsors seemed to enjoy themselves even if they were kept awake all night.

The primary aim of the Central City Chapter of Future Farmers of America is to develop agricul- tural leadership, cooperation and citizenship. To become a member, a boy must be regularly enrolled in a vocational agricultural class. He may retain his active membership for three years after the first national convention following his graduation from high School or until he becomes 21 years of age, whichever time is greater. The local chapter operates through dues and other money-making projects. The boys participated in local, district, and state judging contests. Members attended the National Convention at Kansas City, Missouri, and the State and District Conventions. Jeanne Mattson was elected the Chapter Sweetheart. : I : f: 1!; h: fin x .r 2973:; g i: . m- l; .i Q d? , if; t' t t J Li u, 1 X f2 XX 9 N 1;? t'm'v . 33, ; QJ- 7 t t K L -;t 71A - 1 s JV Ln '3' t. j: . 1 I J 2 '; xi t 5 .
