The primary aims of the organization - to develop agricultural leadership, cooperation, and citizenship - are stressed in all of the chapter's many activities. Members of the Central City F.F.A. Chapter activities included a watermelon feed, a swimming party, roller skating party. a slave auction, a radio program, the sponsorship of two school dances, election of a Chapter Sweetheart, Karen Krance. the selling of Christmas cards, garden seeds, and concrete hog troughs, and construction of a farmstead display. Chapter members attended the National, State, and District F.F.A. Conventions. Dean Hanke was elected to play in the State F. F. A. Band, and Frank Ashelford and Dean Hanke were elected to the Degree of State Farmer. E. L. Van Meter, Melvin Zichek, and Clarence Hanke were elected to the Honoraxy Chapter Farmer Degree.
