Q73 ?wkwyfwag The annual staff of 1958 is happy to dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Martha Crites. Martha Crites was born September 17, 1874. She was graduated in the first graduating class of Central City High School June 4, 1891. From a class of nine girls she rated valedictorian. Afterherhigh school days she taught several months at the old Scudders School House. Later she married Clay Howard Crites in 1897, and raised four children. She now is rewarded with seven grandchildren and tweIVe great-grandchildren. Throughouther life, Martha Crites was very active in her work at the Presbyterian Church. Not only church work, but never will there be one more loyal to all the functions and activities of the present day high school. At the time of this writing Martha Crites is living on a ranch near Burwell with her daughter.
