a May 18. 1958 the class of 1958 with fifty-one members attended Baccalaureate services in the auditorium. The Reverend Charles Funk delivered the sermon. Dean Frank E. Henzlik, University of Nebraska, delivered the Commencement address on May twenty-third. Mr. Ivan Manson, president of the Board of Education, presented the fifty-one seniors diplomas. Principal George M. Wilson presented the following scholarships and awards: Valedictorian, Farmers National Bank and Ak-Sar-Ben scholarship, Nancy Fullington; Salutatorian and Regents' scholarship, Ron Olsen; Regents' scholarship, Marty Miller; Church College scholarship. triermmn On March 28. 1958 the senior class of the Central City High School left at 5:30 3.111. for Omaha for their Sneak Day. The class of '58 with fifty-one members arrived at Wahoo, Nebraska at 7:30 a. m. for breakfast. At 9:00 they arrived at Boys' Town, Nebraska where they toured all the buildings and the grounds. From Boys' Town they boarded the bus and left for Omaha. They first visited the Kitty Clover Potato Chip plant. There they received a free bag of potato chips, a pamphlet on the plant, and a couple of recipe books. After this tour they went to Bishop's cafeteria for lunch. They then toured the Woodman of the World building. From 2 to 6:30 they had to themselves. Most of them went to the show Sayonora. Then it was back to Bishop's for supper. After supper they went to Ak-Sar-Ben for the beautiful Ice Capades. They then boarded the bus for home and arrived about 2 a. m. , everybody exhausted. A good time was enjoyed by all! I. f! ,I i ,.
