The Junior-Senior Banquet of 1950 The Junior Class started the new year of 1950 with the resolution to have a successful Junior-Senior Banquet. With the help of Gertrude Gealy and Raymond Stratman, sponsors, they began early but ended in the usual last minute rush of preparations. Although the long anticipated night of May 4th was a rainy one outside. the auditorium teemed with gaiety and excitement felt especially by the honored Seniors and their hosts, the Juniors. Upon entering the cave the guests were transported to Pirates Paradiseo They walked across the gangplank'frby Treasure Island and onto the ship with its gaily decorated tables, masthead and pirates flag. There they enjoyed a fine meal prepared by the mothers of the Juniors which was served by twenty waiters and waitresses chosen from the Sophomore Classo They were dressed in typical gypsy style. Mr. Walter Raecke was the principal speaker of the evening. The program was climaxed by a dance held at Riverside, nrmh w. ,e ..... ., Wm. -,..$.Q h V A x .g 5 f: x 13 xx m' Assn KN, . x x K .
