Central's own newspa- per, the Comet, proved to be very in- formative and inter- esting this year. The dedicated staff which made it all possible, consisted of photogra- phers, reporters, art- ists, editors, and of course faculty moder- ator Mr. Hudnall. The duet of Cristina and Rose. Soloists were Patty. Amy, Sue and Fred. Mr. Hodel Mr. Philip Hodel was a music teach- er. organist and friend of the vocal department of Central Catholic for over a quarter of a century. He was very gracious about sharing his time and talents with us. Besides accom- panying the annual Sacred Music concert, Mr. Hodel worked with the student accompanists and also gave lessons to many Central students. He also served in full-time po- sitions in some of the area's largest churches. Central has been fortu- nate to have been associated with such a kind, well-known and respect- ed gentleman for so many years. We will miss Mr. Hodel and his contribu- tions to so many.
